Curtain Size Guide
Choose the right dimensions and hanging style for your window or cabinet opening. Always check the size options and selling unit on the product page before ordering.
1. Measure the space you want to cover
Measure the rod or opening width, then measure the finished length from the curtain's hanging point to the point where you want the lower edge to sit. For café curtains, measure from the rod across the lower part of the window. For cabinet curtains, measure the cabinet opening.
2. Allow room for gentle folds
A curtain wider than the opening creates folds. Consider the amount of fullness you prefer and the available panel widths. If purchasing two panels, use their combined width when planning coverage.
3. Check width, length and panel quantity
Measurements may be shown in inches and centimeters. Check which measurement is width and which is length in the selected product option. Some styles include one panel; others include a pair. The selling unit is stated on each product page.
4. Match the hanging style to your rod
- Rod pocket: insert the rod through the opening at the side of the top fabric channel and slide it through. Do not insert it through the front of the curtain. Check the pocket size before selecting a rod.
- Tie top or tab top: use the ties or loops supplied with the selected style.
- Other hanging options: check the product page for the hardware and heading options offered.
5. Choosing a tie-up curtain
Check the full panel dimensions and the tie arrangement. The finished appearance changes depending on how much fabric you gather and how high you tie it.
